Electrified membranes for carbon dioxide reduction in surface waters

Reid Hightower is a second-year undergraduate from Las Vegas, Nevada. He is majoring in Chemical Engineering and is currently researching the electrochemical reduction of CO₂ from surface water to generate hydrocarbon fuel precursors and remove CO₂ from the atmosphere. Outside of academics, he is a part of the STARS cohort, a Peer Liaison for the Native American Cultural Center, and a member of the Yale Symphony Orchestra.
