Plasma for CO2 activation and upgrading; Plasma for ammonia reduction
Saachi is a fourth-year undergraduate student focusing on the application of plasma for enhanced CO2 conversion. She joined the Winter lab in July of 2022. At Yale, she is an Applied Physics B.S. major with a certificate in Energy Studies. She is also the community development chair for the Society of Women Engineers, has been involved with the Aerospace Association as a subsystem project leader, and has contributed to a number of undergraduate magazines. Her previous research interests include satellite subsystem design and computer models for biophysics applications. When not in the lab, Saachi enjoys studying medieval history, writing poetry, and oil painting.
